How To Have The Best Week EVER!

Happy September and welcome, back to my blog! Today I will be sharing with you the top five things I do on Mondays to make sure I have a great week!

1. Start your morning with a special treat!

My favorite thing to do on Monday morning is to get an iced coffee. There is something really relaxing about stepping into my favorite coffee shop (AKA Starbucks. Of course.) and ordering my favorite type of coffee. Something small like this will get you more excited for the week ahead.

2. Do my hair!

I feel the happiest when my hair looks good. Maybe that’s selfish but it’s how I feel. Every Monday morning I make sure to wash and style my hair. This makes me feel way more put together and ready to begin my quest for world domination (okay not that, but still).

3. Watch my favorite show before bed!

I know that every “healthy” person and their mother says not to watch TV before bed but honestly there are way worse things you could be doing. I have mentioned multiple times on this blog about how much I love Netflix so if it makes me or you happy then why not watch that Friends episode for the 100th time before bed? If it makes you happy and relaxes you before bed, then my friend, go watch Ross make a fool of himself to Rachel.

4. Wear my favorite outfit!

I love dresses, skirts and flower shoes. I love wearing things that make me happy! So my advice for you is to wear your favorite dress this Monday. Wear something that you love. When you feel good about what you are wearing then you feel better altogether.

5. Write down your weekly goals!

This one is a big one. Every week I think of all the things I need to do. Writing it down, or adding a note to my phone makes me feel at ease knowing that I won’t forget anything. So, besides the usual “buy milk, take the dog to the groomers,” it is important to do things that are specific for you like; “get a manicure this week” or “take a relaxing bath.” Adding fun things to your to-do list will help in making all the tasks seem easier. My friend and I like to send each other our daily to do lists. It feels empowering and it helps me add things to my list. She always makes sure to add self-loving things to her list which inspire me to remember to breathe and take care of myself also.
