Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I love books. Actually, I am obsessed with books! So I am coming on here today to tell you about all the books I read during the month of September!

Book 1: Girl, Wash Your Face; By: Rachel Hollis

Wow. I love this book so much and I can’t stop telling my friends about how AMAZING it is. Hollis, the founder of a famous lifestyle website and CEO of her own media company exposes 20 lies and misconceptions that hold us back from living a wonderful life. She is funny and brutally honest and I love it.

Book 2: We Were The Lucky Ones

I read this book in three and a half days. This book is inspired by a true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II. It starts in the spring of 1939 where the Kurc family are doing their best to live normal lives even though the threat of war surrounds them. This is obviously a hard read but has a great happy ending. My favorite part is that it is inspired by a really family and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Book 3: Everything I Never Told You; By: Celeste Ng

I read this book in two days because I just could not put it down. This novel is about a Chinese American family living in the 1970’s in small-town Ohio. The body of the parent’s favorite child is found in the local lake and now the family seems to be spiraling into chaos. The story follows the family, their secrets and the effects that this loss had on them. This is the same author who wrote “Little Fires Everywhere,” so if you liked that, then you are going to love this book.

Book 4: Pretty Baby; By: Mary Kubica

I love a good psychological thriller and this gives me everything I need in a book. Heidi, a charitable woman, brings home a young homeless girl with a baby to her family one night and quickly becomes obsessed with the child. The past of the homeless woman starts surfacing and the family becomes weary of who she actually is and what she really is doing in their home.

All of these books are great and definitely a must read. What are you reading right now? Until next time, have fun!
