Hello Friends, long time, no type. In the month of October, I was a book-worm and finished the month with a grand total of six books read. Out of the six books I read here are my top four favorites of the month.
The Girls, By: Emma Cline
This was my absolute favorite book of the month. The novel is set in the late 1960’s and is loosely inspired by the Manson Family which was a cult that was known for going on a killing spree and murdering a famous actress of the time (and others). The book follows a woman named Evie as she looks back at her time in the cult. This book was very creepy and made it hard for me to sleep at night but I could not put it down! Definitely a must read in my opinion.
The Silent Wife, By: A.S.A Harrison
This novel is a psychological thriller about a marriage. Jodi and Todd are at a bad place in their marriage and this book shows how far one woman will go to keep what was rightfully hers. I don’t want to spoil anything in case you read this story but if you like a thriller, this is the book for you.
The Wife Between Us, By: Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
“The Wife Between Us,” threw me for a loop. This book will have you thinking one way and then out of no where everything you thought you knew will be totally wrong! I really enjoyed this book.
Hungry, By: Crystal Renn
“Hungry,” is an autobiography on model, Crystal Renn’s life and her experience in the modeling world. Since I have dabbled in the modeling world I found this very interesting. Crystal is brutally hilarious and leaves you feeling confident. She leaves nothing out about how scary yet sometimes wonderful the fashion industry can be.
That’s all I got for this month! Until next time, have fun!
